Embroidery is the use of needle and thread to decorate fabrics. Today embroidery is used for adding logos to workwear to identifying sports club to making a one-off gift to be a treasured memory for your loved one’s wedding. At Badgers Embroidery, our commercial multiple head embroidery machines take the design and sew them a garment or make a badge to your specifications. Here are some frequently asked questions:

How long will it take?

Depending on the quantity you require, we guarantee we will have your garments returned to you within 1 week. Generally, most items will be ready for pickup sooner.

How much will it cost?

A digitising and one off setup fee may apply, especially if you are getting your logo embroidered. This fee will be quoted to you before we start your job. Each logo is priced by the amount of stitches that the logo requires. Generally, the more stitches required, the more the embroidery will cost. Keep this in mind when you are determining the size and complexity of your design. Our friendly staff will explain this in more detail.

What does digitising mean?

Digitising is the process of converting existing artwork like a logo or emblem into a stitch file that an embroidery machine can recognise to sew onto a garment.

What do I need to provide if I have a logo I want used?

You can either email your logo or provide us with a JPEG or PDF electronic file to have the logo setup and digitised.

Existing Logo

If you have an existing logo that has been digitised then just supply us a copy of the DST file format and we will be able to check it and make sure it is ready to be used to embroider your logo.

Digitising your logo is a one off fee; we will be kept on file for future use.

Are you open Saturdays?

Generally no, however arrangements can be made with our friendly staff to assist you in dropping off or picking up orders on Saturdays or after hours.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver in the South West area. Fees and some conditions will apply. Our friendly staff will assist you if you require your order to be picked up or delivered to your premises.

Do you have minimum orders?

There is no minimum order! If you require one garment to be completed, then we will embroider one garment for you.

How do I select colours and fonts?

We will consult with you about the exact colours and fonts you want to use. We will provide samples to ensure you receive the finish you want.

Do we sew onto leather vests or supply metal badges?

Unfortunately this requires specific equipment that we do have and therefore we are unable to complete these tasks.
